Windpal and HELMS Successfully Completed Japan’s Largest Ever Geotechnical Investigation Campaign for Offshore Windfarm Development

Tokyo, 16 September 2024 – Windpal Co. Ltd. (Windpal) of Japan, together with Helms Geomarine Sdn Bhd (HELMS) of Malaysia, has just concluded a major geotechnical site investigation in Japan, a project that spanned more than two years. Andrey Kononchuk, Managing Director of Windpal, shared, “We have conducted a comprehensive soil investigation covering all offshore wind energy sites from the 2022 Round 1 auctions, making it the largest geotechnical survey ever completed in Japan.
