HELMS Celebrates New Office Opening and Major Developments

Kuala Lumpur, 15 August 2024 – Helms Geomarine Sdn Bhd (HELMS) is proud to announce the launch of its new office in Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur. Occupying the entire 10th floor of Menara Hidayah, this modern 10,000-square-foot office space showcases designs inspired by offshore geotechnical elements such as a vessel shaped conference table, drilling rig metal frames and porta cabin feature walls among others. This new office space also hosts HELMS’ soil testing laboratory, integrating lab testing, engineering design, QAQC and reporting into a seamless process.

HELMS’ Managing Director, Dato’ Helmi Zulkawi expressed his enthusiasm, “This celebration goes beyond the physical opening of a new office. It reflects our growth, achievements, and commitment to excellence. We are proud to have recently secured a prestigious 3 years plus 2 years optional extension contract with Petronas, building on the success of our previous long-term engagements. With the recent ISO / IEC 17025 accreditation of our soil testing laboratory, it further reinforces our dedication to quality and consistency. We are also excited to announce a long-term service agreement for the provision of geotechnical investigation for offshore windfarm development projects in South Korea, marking another step forward in expanding our global reach.”

The inauguration was attended by Ts. Syed Saggaf Syed Ahmad, President of the Malaysian Oil, Gas, and Energy Services Council (MOGSC), alongside industry leaders from Petronas, Carigali Hess, ConocoPhillips, and Hibiscus Petroleum.
