The Seismic Recording System is a high-performance data acquisition system designed to record, process and monitor seismic data during offshore geophysical and geotechnical survey operations. Integrated with the seismic sound source and marine seismic streamer, the system provides real-time acquisition of high-resolution subsurface data for geological interpretation and offshore engineering investigations.

The Seismic Recording System continuously receives acoustic signals detected by the hydrophone arrays within the marine seismic streamer and converts them into digital seismic records for real-time display and quality control. Integrated with GNSS positioning systems and navigation software, the system synchronizes seismic data with vessel position, ensuring that all recorded data are accurately geo-referenced throughout the survey. Real-time monitoring enables survey personnel to verify signal quality, acquisition parameters and system performance, allowing immediate adjustments to optimise data quality.

Designed for continuous offshore operation, the Seismic Recording System provides reliable data acquisition, secure data storage and efficient processing throughout the survey campaign. The modular architecture allows seamless integration with seismic sources, streamers and other onboard survey systems while supporting high-speed recording and comprehensive quality assurance during acquisition.
